Jo Collinson is a highly experienced and compassionate leader in mental health, with over 14 years of NHS experience. An Occupational Therapist by background, Jo has built a career rooted in clinical excellence, innovation, and advocacy, particularly within Neurodevelopmental Services. She is an advocate for allied health professionals in leadership roles, believing in the power of multidisciplinary collaboration to create meaningful change.
Specialising in Autism and ADHD assessments, Jo is passionate about a trauma-informed and neuro-affirming approach to care. Her expertise lies in developing and leading services that support neurodivergent individuals, with a particular focus on girls and women whose needs are often under-recognised. Jo is also a trained Sensory Integration Practitioner meaning she understands how sensory experiences affect behaviour, learning, and mental health and uses this to inform clinical practice and service design.
