Long waiting times for NHS mental health and neurodevelopmental services are increasingly preventing people from accessing timely assessment, treatment and support.
There is a strong need to boost the capacity of NHS services – particularly the provision of Autism and ADHD assessments. While alternatives do exist, in the form of Right to Choose, or private healthcare, these options are not universally accessible to all.
